Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Nissan Murano. Now, it's gonna be a bit more of a unique hitch-mounted carrier, because it's sort of like a tray, very short sidewalls, but still a good amount of workable space on all the sides here. Now, there are gonna be some sidewalls, so inside dimensions front to back is gonna be 21 inches, and from side to side here, we're gonna be working with 48 inches. So with those sidewalls, you can use them to box some things in, but if you've got maybe some duffle bags, some softer items that need to overhang just a little bit, I think you'll be able to with this, so long as it's properly strapped down. For strapping things down, you can go around any of these main slats, or there's gonna be four holes in each of the corners where you can maybe get an S-hook run to or maybe a bungee. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Nissan Murano. Now, this is gonna be the larger option available from Flint Hill Goods. Coming in at 20 1/2 inches deep, and as far as the width goes, 50, or sorry, 58 1/4 of an inch wide, it's gonna be more than large enough to carry all the stuff you might need when you're going on a trip or maybe going to the hardware store, picking some things up. And a hitch-mounted basket like this is a great way to do things like that, because it's got a high weight capacity of 500 pounds. And if you have anything out here that's messy, like bags of mulch, dirt, concrete from the hardware store that tend to make a mess inside the vehicle, that mess out here is a lot easier to clean. more

It's worked out really great for my family on all of our trips.One of the coolest things that I like about this one, is when you get stuff stacked up here, when you're trying to get into a back hatch, depending on how high it is, you can pull these pins and clips and you can tilt this away. more

Adam with etrailer.com.Today we're going to be taking a look at the hitch-mounted Curt cargo carrier on our 2019 Nissan Frontier.So this is going to be a steel construction, be able to hold up to 500 pounds and you're going to have about 60 by 24 inches of usable space. So there's going to be plenty of room to be able to get all of your goods on the back here so you can have your bed open and more room for your passengers in the cab.A couple of things that I like about it is just the mesh floor. We can put a bunch of wet or muddy gear in here. If you're in the trails or maybe even just hanging out in a creek at a park, whatever it is, you can put all your wet gear back here so it's not going to stink up or get the inside of your cab all wet and muddy. So that's always a plus for me.We're going to have plenty of different tie down points to be able to get all of our cargo nice and secured properly. more

Hey guys, today we have a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder and we're gonna do a test of the Rola cargo carrier. Now this is gonna be a hitch mounted cargo carrier, it's gonna be made out of steel, be very sturdy, have a 600 pound weight capacity, so you're gonna be able to load up a ton of excess cargo, luggage, sports and recreational gear out of your vehicle, create more space on the inside for passengers or pets.Now, for storage space on the inside, we're gonna have 22 inches from inside bar to inside bar on our length right here. And then our width, inside bar to inside bar is gonna be 59 inches. So it's a lot of space to get your gear in. We're gonna have this side rail all around the perimeter, it's gonna make for great tie down points to use bungee straps or ratchet straps to secure your cargo.With any hitch mounted accessory, you are gonna have added length to your vehicle. In the case of our Pathfinder, we're gonna measure from the bumper to the outermost point of our carrier, and it's about 32 inches added on to the back of our vehicle. more

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2017 Nissan Titan, we're going to be taking a look at our 22 by 59 Rola cargo carrier for two inch hitches. This is a steel cargo carrier, and it's rated for up to 600 pounds, but as always, you want to make sure to check your hitch and your user's manual for your Nissan to make sure that you don't exceed any of their recommendations.I want to give you a couple measurements. From the back of our bumper to the outermost part of our cargo carrier, we're looking at about two feet and 10 inches. That's important to keep in mind if you're backing up into a parking space. You want to make sure to give yourself at least that much room. Also want to give you a measurement from the ground, the clearance. more

Now this is designed to work with two inch hitches only and has a 500 pound weight capacity. I'm going to start off with our ground clearance here. We're going to have about 13 and 3\4 inches. Overall to our vehicle, we're going to have about 30 and 1\2 inches and our closest point is going to be about 5 and 1\4 inches. Now, on our Rogue, we do have a single driver side exhaust. more

Today on our 2017 Nissan Pathfinder we're going to be taking a look at the 20 by 48 CURT cargo carrier. Now let's take a few quick measurements. Overall this is going to be adding right around 28" to the total length of the vehicle. As far as ground clearance goes, the closest part of the cargo carrier to the ground is going to be right around 14-1/4". Now the closest point to the vehicle is going to be right about 7-1/2". Now if you're stacking something and you want to know how close the hatch is going to be, the breakover point's going to be right around 25-1/4". Keep that in mind when stacking anything on here. more

Today on our 2017 Nissan Pathfinder we're going to be taking a look at the 24 by 60 CURT cargo carrier. Now first we're going to take a few measurements. Overall we're going to be adding right around 35" to the total length of the vehicle. As far as ground clearance goes, the closest point of the basket is going to be right about 14". Now the closest point to the vehicle is going to be right about 6-1/2". Now when carrying things, the breakover point where the hatch is going to make contact is going to be right about 24". Now one of the nice features of this cargo basket is there's plenty of tie down points. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Nissan Quest- Video
Today on our 2016 Nissan Quest we're going to be test fitting the 20 by 48 CURT cargo carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, part number C18110. This has a 300 pound carrying capacity. On the floor of the cargo carrier you can see that it has this nice mesh flooring. That's going to make it a lot easier to clean. Also around the border of the cargo carrier we have these tie down points which you can use for your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. The cargo carrier does have a slightly raised shank which is going to assist you when you have a particularly low-sitting hitch so you don't have any clearance issues between the cargo carrier or the ground. The exhaust is going to be on the passenger side and face down away from the cargo carrier so you don't have to worry about any heat-sensitive materials when you're loading those up. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Nissan Quest c18152- Video
Today on our 2016 Nissan Quest, we're going to be test fitting the 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches, part number C18152. This has a carrying capacity of 500 pounds. We have this nice mesh floor here on the bottom which makes it easier to clean, and we also have this railing all the way around the cargo carrier which can serve as a tie down point for either your ratchet straps or your bungee chords. I'm going to go ahead and give you some quick measurements now. Measuring from the edge of the bumper to our outer edge, we've added about 33.5" to the rear of the vehicle. For our ground clearance that's going to be about 12", and then our closest point to the bumper is going to be about 8" to this edge here. That same measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole is going to be about 12", so just keep that in mind if you have different style hitches installed on your vehicle that go further out, or come further in. more

We've got a 300 weight capacity and the supports of both an inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. We're going to start off with a few measurements. First is going to be ground clearance. The bottom of our bolt, we're going to have about thirteen and a half inches. Overall through our vehicle, we have about twenty five inches and our closest point is going to be about five and a half inches away. On our Rogue, we do have a single driver's side exhaust. more

Today in our 2010 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be test fitting the Max Tow 30 by 50 wheelchair carrier with the 48 inch long ramp, part number MT70106. This has a carry capacity of 500 pounds. It has this nice mesh floor, which makes it easy to clean. It has the rails as well as these tie down points all around the cargo carrier for your ratchet straps or your bungee cords, to make sure your cargo doesn't fall off while driving. Right now we have it in the position you would have it when, either your wheelchair or your scooter is going to be on the cargo carrier, itself. Today on our 2013 Nissan Frontier we're doing a test fit of the Curt 20x48 cargo carrier. That part number is C18110. This is designed to work with 2" hitches and has a weight capacity of 300 pounds. We're going to start off here with a few measurements. Ground clearance being first. We're going to have about 17 3/4" to the bottom. Our closest point is going to be about 27 3/4". more

MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Nissan Murano- Video
Today on our 2011 Nissan Murano we're doing a test fit of the Max Tow 48 by 21 Cargo Carrier. That part number is MT70422. This is designed to work with 2 inch hitches and has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. First thing we're going to do is take a few measurements. We're going to have about 12 inches of ground clearance there. Overall to our vehicle we're adding about 28 inches and our closest point is going to be about 5 and 1/4 inches away. On our Murano we do have dual exhaust, one on the passenger and one on the driver side. more

We've got plenty of spots along the edges to tie down our cargo. We have a nice mesh floor, so it's going to be easy clean. Dirt and debris can just fall right through. more

Today on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, we're doing a test fit of a Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier. This is 23 by 47, has a weight capacity of 450 pounds and works with 2 inch hitches only. First I'm going to do while it's on our vehicle is take a few measurements. We're going to start off with our ground clearance here. To the bottom of our carrier, we're adding about 17 1/2 inches. We do have that raised shank in the back, which is going to lift our carrier even higher than our hitch. more

Today on our 2010 Nissan Murano, we'll be doing a test fit of the MaxxTow aluminum cargo carrier, and that's Part Number MT70422. I've already got it loaded up just to give you a good idea of what it's going to look like. As you can see, I would say it's a mid-sized cargo carrier. It has an open floor plank, so it's going to be easy to clean. Dirt and debris can just fall right through. We've got a few spots on the outside here that we can attach our cargo straps to.
